Description

No. 7 Castle End Road is a 17th-century cottage positioned at right angles to the road. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a thatched roof with coped gable ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has two windows, which are casements, along with a central doorway. There are two eyebrow dormers and stone chimney stacks at each end, which have been heightened with brick. At the rear (north-west), there is a two-light moulded stone mullion window and a stone lean-to roofed with Collyweston stone. Additionally, there is a moulded stone window head above a modern casement on the east end.
