Description
Wisteria Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century house located on the north side of Maxey West End Road. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof, featuring coped gable ends. The house is one storey and attic in height. The ground floor has two modern casements set beneath flat stone arches with keyblocks. A modern central door is accessed via a 19th-century porch with thin columns. Two modern, wedge-shaped dormers are visible. Brick chimney stacks are at the ends of the building. A 19th or 20th century single-storey extension is present at the east end. Behind the main house is an 18th-century wing, also one storey and attic, which creates an L-shaped plan.
