Description

No. 20 Maxey Road is a 17th or 18th century cottage positioned at right angles to the road. It is constructed from whitewashed stone rubble and features a thatched roof with coped gable ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has two windows. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars. There is a modern central door and one eyebrow dormer. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. At the east end, there is a stone extension from the 18th or 19th century, which has a new tile roof.
