Description

Church House is a 17th-century cottage located on Church Lane in Helpston. It is built of coursed stone rubble and features a steeply pitched pantile roof with coped gable ends. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two windows. The windows are modern casements, and there is a modern recessed door in the center. A modern dormer with a catslide roof is also present. At each end, there are ashlar stacks with cornices. There is a one-bay addition at the south-west end, likely from the 18th century, constructed of stone with a thatched roof and gabled ends.
