Description

This 18th-century barn and stable, located to the north of No 1 (Manor House) on Church Lane in Helpston, is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. The barn has three bays and includes central double doors on either side that lead to the threshing floor, as well as vertical ventilation slits in the walls. Adjoining the barn to the west is a stable, also from the 18th century, made of stone with a thatched roof, which includes a stable door and a casement window.
