Description
The Manor House is a 17th and 18th century house located on the west side of Church Lane in Helpston. It is constructed of coursed stone with a steeply pitched roof of Collyweston stone, featuring coped gable ends. The building is two storeys high with a four-window front. It has 19th-century two- and three-light stone mullion windows with dripmoulds and lozenge panes. A 19th-century moulded four-centred arch doorway is situated to the left of the centre of the front elevation. Ashlar stacks with cornices are present at each end. A rear wing, constructed of stone, extends to create an L-shaped plan and dates to the 18th century.
