Description
No. 2 Warham Road is a 17th-century cottage constructed from flint with brick dressings and a red pantile roof. The building is single storey with attics and features one single light casement window and one two-light casement window, both with glazing bars, as well as one 20th-century sash window. These windows are all framed with brick quoined surrounds and brick soldier arches.
There are two doorways on the south side; one has a cam iron bracket hood and a six-panel door with four glazed lights, while the other door features panelled reveals, brackets, a porch, and a hood. The cottage has brick quoins, eaves, and a central stack, along with two hexagonal stacks. The steeply pitched roof has a south gable that was rebuilt in 1885. The rear of the cottage includes three windows with glazing bars and three dormers. An external chimney breast and stack, likely from the 18th century, is present, and inside, there is a cot off the springing of a cruck truss.
