Description
The United Reformed Church, built in 1826/27 with minor alterations in 1875, is a chapel constructed of ashlar with a slate roof. It features a moulded stone gable end that rises two storeys and consists of three bays. The front has four-centred arch Y-traceried gothic windows, with the central window being a three-light design set in a four-centred arch recess. Below this is a moulded four-centred arch doorway that contains large panelled doors. The tracery in the windows is likely an insertion from 1875. The sides of the church have three four-centred arch windows with similar tracery, and the south-east end has two additional windows of the same style. Inside, there is a gallery at the entrance end supported by two columns.
