2/25 Squance Headstone approximately - 9m south-east of chancel of Church of St Michael

GV II

Headstone. Dated 1799 in memory of Elizabeth Squance. Limestone. Upright slab standing approximately 0.6m high with the head shaped as a bifurcated scroll. It is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering and records the death of Elizabeth Squance in 1799 and her first husband Richard Arscott but the date of his death is buried.
