Description
This headstone, dating from the early 18th century, is located approximately 17 metres south of the west corner of the aisle of the Church of St. Michael. It is made of limestone and features an inscription plaque that is framed by deeply cut scrolls and pendants of fruit. At the top, it is surmounted by a helmet and skull. The inscription is fragmentary but includes the words "..... M..... wife of John Norris, who departed this life, March 27, 1700".
