Description

This is an early 19th-century stuccoed house located on West Terrace in Budleigh Salterton. It has a slate hipped roof with paired brackets to the eaves soffit. The house is two storeys and has an attic space. It is three bays wide, with sash windows, the ground floor sashes featuring margin panes. The first-floor windows on the left and right are set within elliptically arched recesses. Louvred shutters are fitted to the first-floor windows. A central doorway is defined by a four-centred arch, with a glazed door. A verandah originally ran across the front of the house, but only the tented roof remains on the side. A large, modern, flat-roofed dormer window has been added.
