Description

Uplands is an early 19th-century stucco house situated on a hillside overlooking Budleigh Salterton. It has a slate roof with stepped and pedimented gable ends, a parapet, cornice, and corner pilasters. The house is two storeys high with an attic and originally featured two bays with sash windows without glazing bars. Later alterations include canted bay windows on the ground floor, along with a glazed verandah supported by thin cast iron columns with arched spandrels.
