Description

Number 25 and Number 27, Lyndale, are an early 19th-century stuccoed house with a bitumenised slate hipped roof and overhanging eaves. The house has two storeys and three bays. It features tall casement windows with glazing bars, with polygonal heads and lattice glazing details. A distinctive lozenge-shaped window with diamond and cross tracery is located centrally on the front floor. A first-floor balcony is supported by an iron balustrade and timber posts. The central doorway has a round arch with a semi-circular fanlight above a panelled door. Single-storey, one-bay wings with hipped roofs and similar polygonal-headed windows flank the building to the left and right.
