Description
Pear Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century house finished in stucco. It features a slate roof with gabled ends and overhanging eaves. The building has two storeys and is composed of three bays. On the left and right sides, there are two-storey segmental bay windows, each with three-light bowed sashes that include glazing bars. The central first-floor window is also a sash with glazing bars. The main entrance has a central doorway flanked by Tuscan half columns and an entablature, topped with a semi-circular arch that includes a fanlight and flush panelled reveals with a door. Additionally, there is a verandah on the east end, which has a tented roof supported by thin iron columns.
