Description

The gatepiers and gates at the entrance to Park Lodge, which leads to Killerton House, date from around 1820. They consist of two granite monoliths that are square in shape, tapering slightly towards the top, which features shallow pyramidal points. The gatepiers rest on wide, low granite bases. Accompanying these are simple iron gates and railings, which have scrolled iron uprights on either side of the piers.
