Description
The gate piers and gates located 10 meters south of Lodge Park date from the mid-18th century or earlier and are designed in a style influenced by William Kent. They are constructed from ashlar and feature square gate piers with hammer-dressed quoins that reach the height of the gates. Each pier is topped with a large limestone block and a triangular pedimented capping stone. The gates themselves are made of cast iron from the 19th century and have a simple geometric design. This property is owned by the National Trust.
