Description
Wall Farm is a 17th century farmhouse that was enlarged and restored in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is built of coursed squared and dressed limestone, with 20th century stacks that imitate ashlar and a roof made of artificial stone slate. The building has a rectangular plan and features a two-storey facade with six windows. The facade is lit by two and four-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements that have stopped hoods on the ground floor. There are two 19th century gabled porches with flat-chamfered 'Tudor'-arched entrances, and the right-hand porch contains a 20th century plank door with fillets. Both parts of the house have 19th century four-panel doors. To the right of the right-hand porch, there is a small gabled extension with a 2-light stone-mullioned casement at the front. The rear of the building has stone-mullioned casements, one of which features hollow-moulded mullions. The interior has not been inspected.
