Description
Burden's Ball Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century building that has been rebuilt on an older site. It stands two storeys high and is constructed of red brick, featuring a gault brick plinth, quoins, and an eaves band. The plinth has a moulded brick cope, and the eaves band has a moulded brick base. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles.
On the first floor, there are three windows; the outer ones are tripartite, while the center window has been altered and features plate glass sashes. The ground floor has two windows, also tripartite but modified to modern casements. The central doorway is topped with brackets supporting a segmental hood and leads to a six-panel segmental headed door. To the left, there is a two-storey wing built on a rubble plinth, which has been altered at the front, and its roof butts into the main part of the building. The left side of the wall is made of random rubble.
