Description

Carter Moor Farmhouse is an early 18th century building that has undergone some alterations. It is two storeys high with two wide windows. The walls are rendered and feature a stepped brick cornice. The roof is high-pitched and swept, covered with pantiles, and has been raised in two areas to accommodate first floor windows that break the eaves; these windows are modern casements. Below, there are late 19th century sash windows in exposed wood frames. The central door is plain and has an oblong fanlight above it. There are end chimneys made of old brick. The left wing of the building is in ruins and is not of interest.
