Farmhouse. Dated 1865, for Lord Herbert of Wilton. Limestone ashlar, Welsh slate roofs, diagonally-set ashlar stacks. Two parallel ranges gable ends to front. Two-storey and attic, 4-window front. Central double-panelled Tudor-arched door, with sidelights in Gothic-style porch with octagonal pilasters and parapet, date and initials PMH, to left is canted bay with plate glass sashes in mullioned surrounds, 3-light mullioned sash with hoodmould to right. First floor has 3-light mullioned sash to each gable with two smaller sashes to centre, attic with gabled half-dormer sashes. Left return has two tall mullioned sashes to ground floor, pairs or single sashes to first floor. Rear has 2-storey canted bay with sashes to right and first floor oriel with sashes to left. Attached to right is 2-storey service wing with planked doors and small sashes. Interior contains original joinery and marble fireplaces. Fine example of Wilton Estate. model farmhouse.
