Description

The Moody Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 3 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It dates from the mid-18th century, with the earliest date recorded as 1741. The tomb is made of limestone and features angle balusters along with plain side panels that display deeply incised Roman lettering. It has a chamfered base and a slab with a deeply projecting cyma recta moulding.
