Description
There are two unidentified monuments located in the churchyard, 2 to 3 meters south of the tower of the parish church. These are mid-18th century chest tombs made of limestone. The first monument, situated 2 meters from the tower, features angle pilasters, lozenge panels on the ends, and a cyma recta moulded slab. At the time of the re-survey in May 1986, this monument was much overgrown. The second monument, located 3 meters from the tower, has floral angle pilasters and three raised and fielded panels on each side. The central side panels include egg-and-dart friezes and have eroded inscriptions. Its cyma recta moulded slab has been repaired at the east end with metal clamps.
