Description

Wharfinger's House and Store is a building dating from around 1810, constructed of brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has five bays, positioned end on to the canal. The central bay is wider and features double boarded doors. There are also double doors leading to the store in the end gable, along with an external wooden stair at the rear. The building has timber casement windows, one of which has been altered, and three windows on the first floor are blocked. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils, and the roof is hipped, topped with a brick chimney stack.
