Description

Buckleaze Farmhouse is a late 17th- to early 18th-century farmhouse situated on Buckleaze Lane, Pewsey. The building is constructed of diaper brick with a duchess slate roof. It has two storeys and attics, arranged in a five-by-two bay layout. A central 19th-century six-panel door is topped with a two-light overlight. C19 timber cross windows have replaced earlier windows, the original openings having been finished with gauged brick lintels. A three-course plat band runs around the building. The side windows have segmental arches. Two hipped dormers with leaded windows are present, along with two tall panelled brick stacks, one of which features a datestone dated 1689.
