Farmhouse, later C17 altered, rubble stone with stone slate roof, ridge stack and end stacks. Two storeys and attic. Original C17 house is double-fronted with one hipped dormer, 3-light ovolo- moulded mullion windows and hoodmoulds and centre door in oak frame, set in C19 roughcast and stone-slate roofed gabled porch with Neeld family arms. Window to left of door has been replaced by C18 three-light beaded window with hoodmould. One-window addition to west, probably C19, has upper ovolo-moulded 3-light and ground floor C20 door. Rear has hipped dormer, lean-to additions and three 3-light beaded mullion windows of C18 type. Owned by Chapman family d1700, sold to Neeld estate 1856.
