Description

The stable range at Priory Manor is a building with possible origins in the 16th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Bridgwater tile roof. The left end of the building has a 20th-century door and windows that have been adapted for use as a house. The right end contains two stables, each equipped with a window and a door. At the south end, there is a 4-bay tie-beam-and-collar truss double purlin roof, with one bay showing a tier of reversed wind bracing. This structure is included for its group value.
