Description
New Priory Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely originated in the 17th century and was remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features stone slate roofs with end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, consisting of two sections. The left section may be the earliest part but has a front gable that was refronted in the 19th century. It includes an attic light, two first-floor windows, and two pairs of ground floor windows. The right section has a hipped dormer and a two-window range of paired sashes with beaded surrounds, which may date from the 18th century. There is also a 20th-century enclosed porch in the angle to the left. At the rear, there is a northwest wing. The farmhouse was formerly known as Lower Priory Farm.
