Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features stone slate roofs, with a north end stack and a ridge stack on the west range, as well as a ridge stack on the south range. The building has two storeys and an attic, forming an L-shape. The west range appears to be older, with a half-hipped roof to the south.
The west front has various sashes set in flush ashlar surrounds, while the east front features a small sash on the first floor, a 12-pane sash above the door, and two cyma-moulded 2-light mullion windows. The south end includes an attic light, a 2-light unmoulded window on the first floor, and a ground floor 2-light bead-moulded window with a door to the right.
Attached at the southeast angle is the south range, which seems to be an early 19th-century addition, featuring a 16-pane sash on each floor to the left and a 2-light unmoulded mullion window on each floor to the right. There is also a rear lean-to with similar mullion windows on the east end wall, likely serving as a dairy and cheese-room addition.
