Description

The barn at Manor Farm, located to the south of the road, dates from the 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a stone slate half-hipped roof, and features a projecting, hipped cart entry on the east side. A plain cart entry with a timber lintel is present on the west side, alongside a window set under the eaves. A seven-bay range of 19th-century stalls is attached to the south, also with a stone slate roof that is hipped at the south end. Attached to the south-east angle is a five-bay cart-shed with a slate roof. The barn’s interior originally comprised three bays, featuring tie-beam and collar trusses with angle struts. The building is included on the listing for its group value.
