Description
This milestone, located about 70 yards from the turning to Boreham on Boreham Road in Warminster, dates from around 1840. It is one of several notable cast iron milestones in the area, made by Carson and Miller of Warminster. The milestone features a moulded cap and has the inscription "Salisbury 20 Warminster (1)".
