Description

The bridge over the River Wylye, located to the south of Boreham Mill, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of stone and features a splayed end. Similar to the bridge to the north of the mill, it is small yet well designed, allowing the road to cross over the narrow mill pond. The structure includes two wide segmental arches and one dry arch. The bridge is adorned with rusticated ashlar on its faces, except for the east face, and has a band above, two plain courses, and a chamfered cope. The center section of the parapet is raised.
