Description

The village cross and war memorial in Bulkington is a notable structure that dates back to the late medieval period, with the cross itself commemorating the 1914-18 war. It is made of limestone and features a large four-step circular plinth that supports a square chamfered base with chamfered and moulded corners. On the north side of the base, there is a stone plaque recording the war memorial. At the top of the structure is a cross made of Portland stone.
