Description
Home Farm Cottage is a detached cottage dating from around 1700. It is built of Flemish bond brick with vitrified headers and features stone dressings and a plinth. The roof is covered with double Roman tiles and has an axial brick stack. The cottage has a baffle entry and is two storeys high with four windows. There is a 20th-century door to the right of the centre, with a 2-light recessed cyma-mullioned casement window to the right and two more to the left. A continuous moulded string course runs along the first floor, which has four 2-light mullioned casement windows. There is an illegible datestone above the door. The returns are made of rubble stone, with a single casement window on the left return. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension and a conservatory with 20th-century steel casements. The interior has been altered.
