Description

Innox Mills is a building dating from around 1875, constructed by the Gane Brothers. It has three storeys and an attic, made of red brick set on a stepped stone plinth. The building features stone quoins, cills, imposts, and keys to pointed windows, along with paired brackets supporting a cast iron gutter. There are twelve ranges of windows with cast iron glazing bars, although some are blocked. The north gable end has three windows and a gable window in the attic, as well as a modern passarelle leading to a factory across the street. The north-west corner is chamfered and includes a bollard. The roof is covered with double Roman tiles and has a crested ridge. A former stair turret with a pyramidal roof has been removed.
