Description

This building, formerly Innox Mills, began as a Methodist chapel dating to around 1790. It was later incorporated into a factory built in the 1870s, with an additional storey added at that time. The building is constructed of stone with ashlar quoins and dressings. The windows were altered when the third storey was added, but the original design has been retained on two windows of the east gable end. These are two-storey, two-light windows with "Y" tracery in a Gothic style. Other windows on the north side and on the second floor have segmental arches, flush stone surrounds, and keystones (square-headed on the first floor). A doorway is located to the right on the east gable end, which is pointed. The roof is covered with double Roman tile.
