Description

Town Bridge was built in 1777 by local architect Esau Reynolds, as noted by the incised stone in the central parapet on the southeast side. The bridge has been restored and widened and spans the River Biss. It features three segmental arches, with the central arch being larger than the others. On the southeast side, there are two pointed breakwaters and a raised band below the parapet. The northwest side showcases chamfered rusticated surrounds and keystones.
