Number 58 Including Iron Railings

Number 58, including iron railings, is a building located on George Lane, constructed with nodular flint, brick, and pebble dash. It features a pitched slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The northern part of the building is made of flint and has a canted front, with angle buttresses that have projecting flint bands alternating with two courses of brick. The roof has a parapet, and the buttresses rise slightly higher than the roof. There are two pointed casements with glazing bars in the outer bays, and a planked door set in a pointed arch, which has a flint monolith as its keystone. The southern part has a coursed flint ground floor and a pebbledashed first floor. On the first floor, there are two casements, and on the ground floor, there is one casement with lead glazing bars. The property is enclosed by iron railings with spear finials leading to the garden, and there is a flint wall along the road that ends in a gatepier made of alternating flint and brick bands at the west end.
