Description

Mill Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century, is a farmhouse constructed of random rubble stone with stone slate roofs. The roof features coped verges and gable end brick stacks. The building is two storeys and has an attic, with a three-window front. A six-panelled door, sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets, is located to the right of the centre of the front. To its right is a three-light casement window. The left side of the front has a blocked doorway, a three-light beaded mullioned casement, and a 19th-century stone canted bay. A three-light beaded mullioned casement is located to the left of the doorway. The first floor features two three-light beaded mullioned casements and a two-light wooden casement. A two-light casement with a hood mould is located to the right. The attic has three hipped dormers, each with a two-light casement. The rear of the farmhouse includes a lean-to porch, two-light casements, and three-light mullioned casements to the first floor.
