Description

The stables at Shaw House, built around 1880-1890, are a single-storey stable block located to the east of the house. Constructed of brick with a tiled roof, the building has an 'L' shape, featuring a forward wing with four bays, a gable lunette window, and a large clock. A timber bell turret is present on the structure. The main range also consists of four bays, equipped with sliding doors and a recessed glazed entrance on the left side. There is a half-hipped attic door, and the main roof is similarly half-hipped. Inside the left wing, the original cast iron enclosures by Musgrave of London remain, complete with brass knobs and fittings, along with cast iron mangers.
