Description
The stable block, now used as a residence, was built between 1882 and 1883 and designed by Norman Shaw. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof with end stacks on both the right and left, which have moulded tops. The building has a U-shaped courtyard plan and is two storeys tall with an attic. There are two gabled dormers that include barge boards, planted timbers, and leaded lights. The ground floor has 20th-century casements, while the first floor has five three-light casements. To the right, there is a 1½ storey block that projects outwards, featuring a blocked central archway in the return wall and a gable above.
