Description

Minton Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, located set back behind Number 18 on the south side of Downton, The Borough. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with vitrified headers and features a thatched roof with a hip to the right and a brick stack on the left. The entrance is located at the rear. The cottage is two stories high with a three-window front, which includes three 2-light segmental-headed casements on the ground floor and two 2-light casements on the first floor. The left side of the cottage is windowless. The rear has a 20th-century door in a flat-roofed extension to the left, along with all 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
