Description

No. 38 The Borough is a cottage located in a row, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of monk bond brick and features a thatched roof with a brick chimney. The building is one storey high with an attic and has one window. To the left, there is a planked door, and to the right, a three-light casement window with a segmental head. A two-brick plat band is present at the first floor level. The cottage also has an eyebrow dormer that contains another three-light casement window. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in November 1984.
