Description

No. 36 The Borough is a cottage in a row, dating from the early 18th century. It is built of Flemish bond brick and features a thatched roof with a brick stack. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with three windows. To the right, there is a six-panelled door, and on either side, there are 16-pane sash windows set in a moulded architrave with a flat arch. A two-brick plat band marks the first floor level, and there are two eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey in November 1984.
