It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a Welsh slate roof and features brick stacks. The cottage has a symmetrical two-storey front with two windows. On either side of the door is a 12-pane sash window with a segmental head, and there is a 20th-century door to the right. The first floor has two flush 12-pane sash windows. The eaves are deep.
