Description
Cymbeline is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It is built of Flemish bond brick and has a thatched roof with a hip to the right and brick stacks. The cottage features one bay to the east with a cross range, is one storey and has an attic, and contains one window. The front, which is from the 19th century, includes a lean-to extension, two 20th-century bay windows, and one three-light leaded casement window in the attic. The left side has a 20th-century extension with a door and a 20th-century casement window, along with a two-light casement window in the attic. There is an external stack on the left return. The rear of the cottage has an outshut and a 20th-century extension.
Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams and open fireplaces on both the ground and first floors, each with chamfered lintels. There is a winding staircase located on the south side of the fireplace. The roof is constructed with clasped purlins.
