Description

Town Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge that was widened on the upstream side in 1956. It is constructed from ashlar and features two low arches with keystones, a band, and a parapet. The 1956 addition has a similar facing but includes screening concrete beams. The bridge crosses the Byde Brook and was formerly known as Ladd's Bridge.
