Description

No. 3 Church Street is a late medieval house that has been refronted in rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a stack at the east end. The building is single storey with an attic. The central door is framed in oak and is flanked by leaded triple casement windows. An exposed full cruck truss is visible in the east end wall, indicating the end of a cruck-framed range that likely extends into the adjoining No. 2 and may date from the 14th or 15th century. The interior has not been inspected.
