Description
Bridge House is a house from the early 18th century, built on an earlier structure. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Bridgwater tile roof, with large stacks at both the south and north ends. The building has two storeys and an attic.
The east front includes two dormers and windows that are spaced irregularly. On the first floor, there are three 2-light cavetto-moulded recessed mullion windows, with the right window interrupting a stone dripcourse or shelf. The ground floor has an off-centre oak frame plank door, accompanied by a single casement window and a pair of casement windows to the right. There is a lean-to structure on the north end wall. The south end wall features a similar 2-light mullion window for the main floors and attic, along with an oval light to the left of the stack.
At the rear, facing the road, there is a range of five similar 2-light windows. The first floor has four windows and one blocked window, while the ground floor has three mullion windows on the right and two pairs of casement windows on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
