Description
The Surgery is an outbuilding to Cantax House, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Bridgwater tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two hipped dormers that have boarded shutters. The front has a five-window range, with four pairs of casement windows on the first floor; the fifth window is blocked. On the ground floor, there are central and outer doors, with a casement pair and triple casements on each side of the central door. The window pairs have flat brick heads, and one pair is blocked. The doors and triple casements are topped with timber lintels.
