Description
Sundawn is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, which underwent significant remodeling around 1900. It features a combination of rubble stone and timber-frame construction with a half-hipped roof covered in Bridgwater tiles. The building is one and a half storeys tall. The south end wall showcases gable half-timbering in pine above a recessed door and a small bay window. The west side wall is made of rubble stone on the right and half-timber and red brick on the left. There are two-light and four-light stone mullioned windows in the stone section, dating from around 1900, along with a triple casement window to the left. Additionally, there are two gabled eaves dormers from the same period on the left side. The north end reveals an original truss, while the rear features an original chimney gable on the right. This building is included for its group value.
